Welcome to the Roomlands of the Colostle, incredible lands of towering mountains, vast oceans and tempting ruins all within the massive impossible rooms of a truly colossal castle. The Colostle is vast, rooms beyond rooms seperated by gigantic doors, but it is not without danger. The 'Rooks' wander these lands, bizarre walking buildings come to life, and the only source of magic and technology in the world... if you are able to take one down of Course.
'Colostle' is a solo RPG rulebook and setting for adventure in the impossible roomlands of this preposterously massive castle. Use a standard deck of playing cards and check your draws against prompts and rules in the book to see what you discover on your adventures, and then use those prompts combined together however you want, to write sagas of your exploits and legend in your adventurer's journal...
This new edition of the core rulebook contains all the rules you need for countless adventures in the Roomlands of the Colostle. Featuring sections on creating your character, 6 starting classes, exploration rules, combat rules, detailed location information and biomes, cities and much more - all accompanied by over 100 illustrations. This volume also includes a starter campaign 'The Search for the Seastone' and rules for two-player co-op Play!
The Colostle Core Rulebook is the required engine for all Colostle products and expansions - you can't play the other books without it. However, along with a deck of playing cards and a notebook to keep your journal in, this core book will take you on hours of adventures without any need for any of the expansions at all!
Other books in the Colostle series expand upon the locations and mechanics in this book taking you to incredible new places with entirely new challenges...
