“Shannon’s work is exhaustive but never exhausting. It's exhilarating instead. Every entry is both a history lesson and a love letter to the incredible products that formed the foundation of the game that started it all. You’ll sit down to read one entry and find yourself halfway through a book before you know it!”
— Matt Forbeck, game designer and New York Times bestselling writer
