Exordium - Origins of Mythos is a complete codex designed to aid in imagining great impactful narratives with high stakes and larger-than-life characters, for the 5th edition, compatible with D&D 2024.
From classes to monsters, new tools and campaign guidelines, it includes everything one might need to create a Mythic Campaign in any setting and all tiers of play.

From the Exemplar on the path of sainthood, to the malignant Lich or whimsical Aes Sidhe, each path stands as an intricately woven legacy of a fate-defiant hero or villain of yore.
The 10 Mythic Paths are the following:
- The Aes Sidhe, a mortal advocate of the fey who embodies the eternal struggle for freedom and liberation, wielding the whimsical powers of the Feywild.
- The Colossus, an indomitable being, gifted with unrivaled physical might and vigor, yet also marked by an obscure bane that threatens to bereft it of its power.
- The Death Knight, a champion of undeath and icon of sacrilege, fueled by profound scorn for the world and its creatures, accursed by gods and mortals alike.
- The Demoniac, a profane creature that has forsaken its own mortality to embrace the chaos of the Abyss, for the promise of supremacy and unfathomable power.
- The Exemplar, a living beacon of hope who exemplifies the Seven Virtues, through a lifelong pilgrimage of inspiring others to stand for truth, equity and justice.
- The Hellspawn, a baleful contractor bound to infernal lords, yet harboring the sinister ambition of ascending the ironclad hierarchy of the Nine Hells.
- The Jester, a mysterious trickster who revels in chaos and change, treating reality as a grand and fatal joke by bending the fundamental laws that define it.
- The Lich, a spawn of necromantic arcana who has locked its soul into a magical phylactery, achieving immortality through dark rituals and forbidden knowledge.
- The Prophet, a witness of tomorrows, torn between defying the shackles of fate and embracing the inevitability of their visions to shape the course of destiny.
- The Warlord, a strategic mastermind and charismatic leader of people, carving their own name unto history by excelling in tactical Warfare.
The book contains a total of 120 Mythic Trial options, designed as detailed, arc-defining plot hooks. Each is flavored in a way that inspires and guides the GM in telling the next chapter of a Mythic Hero's saga. Weaving them together creates complete, impactful and memorable narratives, that allow a storyteller to achieve new heights, regardless of their experience.
