Adventurers are outcasts and vagrants—unwanted and mistrusted but not unneeded. Raiders and avaricious warlords are an everpresent threat. Trolls and spirits haunt the wild places. Weird and terrible magics seep from ancient ruins and lost tombs. Dragons extort and terrorize the countryside, filling their lairs with treasures beyond imagining. Opportunities for adventurers abound and folk, whether they admit it or not, have need of adventurers’ mighty deeds.
Now you can carve your own place in the society that spurns you. Gain the adulation of folk or give them reason to fear you. Grow your legend. Become Immortal. Change the face of the world forever.
