Serenissima Obscura is a 420-page setting guide & modular adventure for Venice in the Magical Renaissance. Face conspiracies, mystical convergences and a realm of unspeakable terrors!
Large parts of Serenissima Obscura are system-agnostic. We include stats and rules for 5e as well as our own shorthand stats for you to easily adapt characters and monsters to your preferred game system. We furthermore offer the „Magical Renaissance Conversion Guide for Ars Magica“ to make our setting compatible with Mythic Europe.
Serenissima Obscura offers:
- a massive setting guide with information about the historical and mystical background of our world,
- 27 gripping adventure modules set in a dark version of Venice, to be used independently or combined to create a massive campaign,
- a ton of story hooks and personages in the setting guide,
- 10 setlets, our catch-all term for focussed micro-settings and campaign frames,
- 2 new character classes for 5e, the Merchant and the Gonneslinger,
- a new species for 5e, the Children of the Lagoon,
- new mechanics for social advancement and the setup of headquarters,
- illustrations by the artists Anton Vitus (Vaesen), Mark Smylie (Artesia), Simone Tammetta and Margaux Carpio.
