Wait, What's Perils & Princesses?
Perils & Princesses is a rules-light fairy tale adventure TTRPG released in 2023 by Outrider Creative. After a wildly successful kickstarter campaign, Perils & Princesses has built an ever-growing community of adventurers and has even been named one of the best TTRPGs to play in 2024 by Dicebreaker! Sweet Revenge, the first full adventure for Perils & Princesses, successfully kickstarted in summer 2024, and Secret of the Night Market arrives to continue the adventure!

Secret of the Night Market is a zine-length adventure scenario playable by Princesses of any level. It functions as a standalone adventure, or slots easily into an ongoing campaign—it even fits perfectly into the Sweet Revenge module. Thanks to Perils & Princesses’ rules-light, gritty and pretty approach, Night Market can also easily adapt to the game system of your choice with minimal conversion.
Inspired by Christina Rosetti’s narrative poem Goblin Market, William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the fairy otherworlds of Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away, Jim Henson’s Labyrinth, and fantastical creatures from Celtic and Slavic myth, Secret of the Night Market provides an unforgettable location and scenario for a one- to three-session adventure.
